Deer Hunting Season Rectangle Rug

Deer Hunting Season Rectangle Rug

Three variations built around the same hunting theme trade one central animal illustration for another, each pairing a large deer or elk portrait with its own slogan and border style. The first centers a full elk with antlers spread wide against a radiating sunburst of blue, yellow, and red rings, mountains and pine trees filling in below, “HUNTING SEASON NOW OPEN” printed in bold orange across the bottom. The second swaps the elk for a broadside whitetail buck standing in a forest clearing, a detailed hunting rifle with a mounted scope angled beneath it, and “BUCK IT, I’M GOING HUNTING” spelled out in large tan block letters underneath. The third takes the most graphic approach of the group — a stag’s head built entirely from twisting vine and leaf texture, glowing green eyes locked behind an overlaid rifle scope crosshair, with “EAT. SLEEP. HUNT. REPEAT.” stacked vertically down the left side instead of running along the bottom.

Border Styles Across Variations

Each version frames its centerpiece differently. The elk design uses a dense grid of small square patches — pinecones, autumn leaves, antler racks, deer silhouettes, tracks, arrows, and a couple of quilted star patterns — mixed across red, green, and tan plaid backgrounds for a true patchwork-quilt look. The buck-and-rifle design narrows its border focus to hunting gear specifically, repeating bullet cartridges, a compass rose, and antler racks alongside deer portraits in a tighter green-and-burnt-orange palette. The scope-and-stag design pulls back the most, keeping icon panels only along the top and bottom edges — deer, pine trees, mountains, crossed arrows, tracks — while leaving the sides open for the vertical text to run the rug’s full height.

Construction and Underfoot Feel

All three variations share the same quilted build, with visible stitched seams running through both the central illustration and the surrounding border panels, giving each rug a raised, textured surface rather than a flat printed finish. All are cut in a rectangular format rather than round, making them suited to placement along a wall, in front of a fireplace, beside a sofa, or under a coffee table depending on the room.

Placement and Styling

Each variation reads slightly differently in a room despite the shared construction. The sunburst elk design leans bold and celebratory, fitting a cabin or lodge already decorated for the season. The rifle-and-buck design reads more directly as hunting-specific decor thanks to the gun imagery and blunt slogan. The scope-and-stag design, with its deep green palette and vertical text, sits calmer and more graphic, blending into a general rustic or nature-themed space as easily as a dedicated hunting room.

This hunting season area rug collection gives fans of the outdoors three distinct visual directions — celebratory, gear-focused, and artfully graphic — while keeping the same quilted rectangle construction across every option.

Key Details

This is a quilted rectangle rug available in three design variations, each featuring a central deer or elk illustration bordered by patchwork-style icon panels. The centerpiece artwork in each version appears to be a full sublimation print, letting the animal portrait, background scenery, and lettering render as one continuous image within the quilted seams. The surrounding border panels carry a raised, stitched texture consistent across all three variations, giving each rug dimension underfoot rather than a flat woven finish. Border icon density and text placement differ by variation, but construction, shape, and quilting style remain consistent across the collection.
