Scary Black Face Haunt Halloween Car Headrest Cover 2026
A Prank Built for the Rearview Mirror
The base is solid black, chosen specifically so the printed face reads as a void rather than a flat graphic when caught in low light or headlights from behind. This is a Halloween Car Headrest Cover designed to slip over an empty headrest and trick anyone glancing in the rearview mirror into thinking someone else is sitting in the back seat. The effect leans entirely on that low-light illusion, which is why the reference photo shows it staged inside a dim car interior rather than under bright daylight.
One Unsettling Expression, Repeated Across Both Covers
The printed graphic is a stylized human face rendered almost entirely in black, with only the whites of two wide, unblinking eyes and a row of gridded teeth breaking through the darkness in a fixed, ear-to-ear grin. The set includes two identical covers, meant to be placed on the rear headrests as a matching pair so the illusion holds from either side of the car. There’s no secondary print, text, or branding anywhere on the cover — just the single face taking up the entire visible surface, which is what sells the prank at a glance.
A Simple Stretch-Fit Shape
The cover is shaped to match a standard rounded headrest profile, with an open elasticized base designed to pull down and grip snugly around the post area, keeping it in place without sliding during a drive. It’s built as a slip-on accessory rather than a tailored product, so it’s made to stretch over most common headrest sizes rather than fit one exact model.
Material and Everyday Care
Based on Julie Diary’s standard production specs for printed textile items, the cover is made from soft, durable polyester finished with dye-sublimation printing, which keeps the black tones deep and the printed detail sharp without fading, peeling, or cracking over repeated use. The fabric resists wrinkling and shrinking, and for care, it’s best machine washed in cold water, dried by hanging rather than machine drying, and ironed on the reverse side on a cool setting if needed.
Styling and Use Occasions
This is a piece built specifically for Halloween season pranks, drive-by scares, or as a talking-point car accessory for anyone who wants their vehicle to do a little seasonal storytelling. It works equally well left on year-round for shock value or swapped in and out as a temporary October decoration.
Key Details
This Scary Face Seat Cover set includes two identical stretch-fit headrest covers made from soft, durable polyester with dye-sublimation printing, which keeps the design’s fine grayscale shading and stark white eye and teeth detail crisp and resistant to fading or cracking. The elasticized base is built to pull snugly over standard headrest shapes. Per Julie Diary’s care guidance, the covers should be machine washed cold, dried by hanging, and ironed on the reverse side on low heat if needed to preserve the print.
