Spider Man 60th Anniversary Limited Pin
A Pin Set Built Around Six Decades of Spider-Man
Each pin follows its own custom die-cut shape rather than a uniform circle or rectangle, ranging from a full crouched figure to text-based badges and small novelty icons. This is a Spider-Man Enamel Pin Set built around retro comic branding and milestone anniversary references, pulling visual cues from vintage cover art, classic Marvel packaging, and mid-century television design to give the collection a decades-spanning, nostalgic feel rather than a single uniform look.
Eight Distinct Designs Across the Set
The set includes a crouched full-figure pin against an orange-and-blue diamond backdrop, a vertical badge styled after a vintage 12-cent Marvel Comics Group cover, a split-face design paired with “BEYOND” and “AMAZING” lettering, and a retro television pin showing the character mid-swing on its screen. The lower row carries a circular “AMAZING POWER & RESPONSIBILITY” badge, a four-panel grid of stylized mask icons in alternating red and blue color blocks, a face paired with the number “67” and a small spider icon, and a “SPIDER-MAN 1977” badge referencing the character’s television era. Each piece uses bold primary colors — red, blue, yellow, and black — with clean metal outlining separating every color section.
Shape and Construction
Every pin in the set uses its own individually die-cut silhouette rather than a shared shape, with raised metal borders separating each color fill, consistent with a hard enamel or cloisonné pin-making process. This construction gives each piece a smooth, slightly domed surface and a more premium, collectible feel compared to a flat printed pin.
Material and Everyday Care
Based on the crisp metal edging and glossy, evenly filled color sections visible across the set, these pins appear to be built from a metal alloy base finished with hard enamel color fill, a durable construction commonly used for collectible pin sets that resists scratching with normal handling. For care, wiping the surface gently with a soft, dry cloth is generally enough to keep the enamel finish looking clean.
Styling and Use Occasions
This set works well as a collectible display piece for a jacket, backpack, or dedicated pin board, and suits fans who want a range of retro-styled designs referencing different eras of the character rather than a single repeated image.
Key Details
This Retro Comic Pin Collection includes eight individually die-cut pins, each referencing a different decade or design era of Spider-Man branding, from vintage comic cover art to 1970s television imagery. The pins appear to use a hard enamel finish over a metal alloy base, with raised borders separating each color section for a smooth, collectible-grade surface. Care is minimal — a soft, dry cloth is generally sufficient to keep the enamel finish looking clean.
