Atlanta Falcon x Disney Special Millennium Hoodie/Tee/Sweatshirt
Two Birds, Same Wingspan
Every version of this design puts the Millennium Falcon in flight beneath the Atlanta Falcons wordmark, rendered in the same black-white-and-crimson palette as the team’s own bird logo. The front carries a retro travel-poster layout — “Atlanta,” a diamond frame around the ship, “1966” split across its wings — while the back goes bigger: “Atlanta Falcons” arched over a full broadside view of the ship trailing a streak of motion, “Est. 1966” scrawled underneath in loose script.
Why a Spaceship Fits a Football Team
The pairing works on pure coincidence: the Atlanta Falcons were founded in 1966, and Han Solo’s ship — designed by Joe Johnston for the original 1977 film — remains one of the most recognizable fictional aircraft ever put on screen, famous less for its polish than for looking like a beat-up hunk of junk that somehow outruns everything chasing it. That underdog reputation lines up naturally with a football franchise’s own mascot, giving this Atlanta Falcons Millennium Falcon hoodie a design logic beyond just sharing a name.
Built From One of Sci-Fi’s Most Reworked Ships
Lucasfilm has redesigned the Falcon more than once since 1977, most notably reworking it from the ground up for 2018’s Solo to reveal a sleeker hull hidden under decades of scrap and modification. This graphic keeps things closer to the ship’s classic silhouette — the offset cockpit, the forward mandibles — rather than any of its later reimaginings, aiming for the version most people picture first.
T-Shirt Fit
The tee runs a standard, slightly relaxed crew fit in soft, high-quality cotton, light enough for gameday wear on its own and easy to knot or layer once temperatures drop later in the season.
Hoodie Fit
The hoodie carries the same two-sided design across a fleece-lined build with a drawstring hood and a front kangaroo pocket, cut roomier through the shoulders and body than the tee. Exact fabric weight isn’t yet confirmed, so anyone between sizes should size down for a closer fit.
Sweatshirt Fit
The crewneck sweatshirt skips the hood in favor of ribbed cuffs and a straight hem, sitting in between the tee and hoodie for weight — a layering piece for cooler days that doesn’t add the bulk of a full hoodie. Like the hoodie, its exact material specs haven’t been finalized.
Key Details
This three-piece Atlanta Falcons Star Wars collection — t-shirt, hoodie, and crewneck sweatshirt — shares one red, black, and white design pairing the team’s 1966 founding with the Millennium Falcon in flight. The t-shirt’s high-quality cotton construction is confirmed; the hoodie and sweatshirt follow standard fleece-based builds with sizing that hasn’t been fully specified yet, so expect some variance in weight between the three. All three are made for fans who want their team pride and their favorite fictional ship on the same piece of fabric.
