Duke Of Hazzards Monopoly Board Game

The General Lee Leads the Charge

An orange 1969 Dodge Charger, doors welded shut and “01” stamped on its side, tears down a dirt road on both the box lid and the center of the board itself, dust kicked up behind it and a white farmhouse waiting in the background. That’s the General Lee, the car at the center of the original Dukes of Hazzard series, and this Dukes of Hazzard Monopoly board game builds its whole board around that same rural-Georgia backdrop — dirt roads, a church on the hill, and a courthouse standing in for the usual city skyline. It’s a straightforward, well-researched translation of Hazzard County into property spaces rather than a generic car-themed reskin.

Hazzard County, Space by Space

The board trades Boardwalk and Park Place for the show’s actual landmarks: Hazzard Square, Boar’s Nest, Cooter’s Garage, Daisy’s Jeep Trail, Hazzard Pond, and Uncle Jesse’s Farm sit alongside Rosco’s Patrol Route and Boss Hogg’s Office, named for the county’s crooked commissioner and his sheriff. Chance and Community Chest become “Duke Luck” and “Road Hazard” cards, while “Sheriff’s Notice” and “Good Ol’ Boys” round out the deck — a nod to Hazzard County’s running joke of small-town law never quite catching the Duke boys. Corner spaces go to Jail (labeled “Just Visiting” here) and a “GO TO” courthouse space rather than a plain arrow.

Pieces Pulled Straight From the Show

Eight cast-metal tokens replace the usual thimble and boot: the General Lee itself, a cowboy hat, a Hazzard County sheriff’s star, a banjo, a CB microphone, cowboy boots, a jug marked “XXX,” and the county courthouse. Off the board, a standalone lit-up “Boar’s Nest” bar sign and a country porch scene — complete with a rocking chair, quilt, and acoustic guitar — are staged as display pieces alongside the box, giving the set a shelf presence beyond just game night.

What It’s Made Of

Following the same construction standard used across this line’s licensed collector’s editions, the board is pressed cardboard finished with a glossy protective coat and folds quad-style for storage. Tokens are cast in a metal alloy, and the property, Duke Luck, and Road Hazard cards use a reinforced paper stock built to handle repeated shuffling. Games run 60 to 180 minutes for 2 to 6 players, ages 8 and up with supervision recommended. Keep it stored indoors in a climate-controlled space, since cardboard and paper pieces can warp in damp or unheated conditions.

Where It Fits

This one’s built for a Dukes of Hazzard collection as much as a game table — the Boar’s Nest sign and porch-scene piece are meant to stay out on display, not get packed away between rounds. It reads at home next to die-cast General Lee models or classic muscle car memorabilia.

Dirt roads, a lit-up roadhouse sign, and the General Lee riding shotgun on the box — Hazzard County’s whole world laid out property by property.
