Guns N’Roses Monopoly Board Game

A Skull Standing in for the City Skyline

A top-hatted skull crossed with two revolvers sits inside a rose-wrapped frame on the box lid, flanked by a stadium stage glowing under warm concert light. It’s the pistol-and-rose mark that’s been tied to the band since their 1987 debut, and it reappears dead center on the board itself, ringed by roses and stage lighting rigged over a packed crowd. This Guns N’ Roses Monopoly board game treats the skull-and-guns imagery as the visual spine of the whole layout rather than a one-off cover graphic.

A Board Built From the Setlist and the Tour Route

Properties skip fictional streets entirely in favor of songs and stages the band actually built its career on: Civil War, Don’t Cry, Live and Let Die, Patience, Rocket Queen, and Estranged run down one side, priced and grouped the way Boardwalk and Park Place normally would be. Venue spaces do the same work railroads usually handle — The Troubadour, Whisky A Go Go, Hard Rock Cafe, Madison Square Garden, Wembley Stadium, Tokyo Dome, and Maracanã Stadium trace a rough arc from the band’s early Sunset Strip clubs to the stadiums they eventually filled. Chance and Community Chest become “G N’R Army Chest” and “Ritual Reward” cards, and Jail is swapped for “Go to Jail” branded off the band’s 2016 Not in This Lifetime tour messaging.

A Lineup of Tour Icons

Eight metal-cast tokens replace the usual boot and top hat: a guitar, a bandana-wrapped figure, crossed pistols, a top hat, a rose, the skull-and-cross emblem, a microphone, and a bullet. It’s a set built entirely from the band’s own visual language rather than generic rock-band stand-ins, with the top hat and crossed pistols doing double duty as some of the most recognized pieces of GNR merchandise there are. Dice, denominated Monopoly currency, and stacked card decks round out the box.

What It’s Made Of

Following the same construction standard used across this line’s licensed collector’s editions, the board is pressed cardboard finished with a glossy protective coat and folds quad-style for storage. Tokens are cast in a metal alloy, and the card stock across the property and event decks is reinforced to handle repeated shuffling. A game runs 60 to 180 minutes for 2 to 6 players, ages 8 and up with supervision recommended. Store it indoors in a climate-controlled space, since cardboard and paper components can warp in damp or unheated storage.

Where It Fits

This one holds up as a display piece as much as a game — the skull-and-cross artwork and pin-style tokens sit comfortably next to a vinyl shelf or concert poster collection between rounds.

Top hat, crossed pistols, a stadium’s worth of stage light on the box — this is the board built for a GNR fan’s collection first, game night second.
