The Weeknd X.O Monopoly Board Game

A City Skyline Painted Red

A red-lit skyline glows behind a lone figure on the box cover, arms raised toward a packed stadium crowd, with “XO” — the label and fan-club name Abel Tesfaye founded back in 2011 — set into the artwork. The board reopens on the same stage-lit crowd shot, “XO” glowing in the center where a bare title would normally sit. This The Weeknd Monopoly board game builds the whole layout around that stadium-scale, red-and-black visual language rather than a single-album tie-in.

A Board Built From the Discography

Properties trade streets for albums and eras: House of Balloons, Thursday, and Kiss Land open the board, followed by Beauty Behind the Madness, Starboy, and After Hours — the four studio albums, plus the free 2011 mixtape that first put Toronto’s Parkdale neighborhood on the map for fans, since the mixtape’s title famously nods to the house where it was recorded. The bottom row runs through individual tracks: Take My Breath, Dawn FM, Out of Time, Save Your Tears, I Feel It Coming, Moth to a Flame, Love in the Sky, and One Right Now. Chance and Community Chest become “After Hours Pass” and “Starboy Favorites” cards, while “False Alarm” and “The Zone” — both actual song titles — fill out the side spaces, and “Sacrifice” stands in for a tax square.

A Lineup Pulled From the Visuals

Eight metal-cast tokens replace the usual boot and top hat: a performer figure in a red suit jacket, a vintage microphone, a retro radio, the Toronto skyline, a balloon-shaped “XO,” sunglasses, a cracked heart, and a star wrapped in barbed detailing. Off the board, a small trophy reading “Legend of the After Hours” and a cassette tape labeled “XO” sit staged as standalone display pieces, alongside a full-size guitar model.

What It’s Made Of

Following the same construction standard used across this line’s licensed collector’s editions, the board is pressed cardboard finished with a glossy protective coat and folds quad-style for storage. Tokens are cast in a metal alloy, and the card stock across the property and event decks is reinforced to handle repeated shuffling. A round runs 60 to 180 minutes for 2 to 6 players, ages 8 and up with supervision recommended. Store it indoors in a climate-controlled space, since cardboard and paper components can warp in damp or unheated storage.

Where It Fits

This one sits naturally next to a vinyl shelf or concert memorabilia display as much as it does on a game table — the cassette and trophy pieces alone are worth keeping visible between rounds.

A red-lit skyline on the box, a full discography laid out property by property — this is the trading game built for anyone who already knows what XO means.
