Hawthorn Hawks 25 Years in Tasmania Hoodie & Tee

Merchandise Built Around a 25-Year Partnership

Both pieces are done in the same deep chocolate-brown base, the color most associated with Hawthorn’s brown and gold identity. This is the Hawthorn Hawks Hoodie and matching tee released for the club’s 25th anniversary in Tasmania, marking the Hawks’ relationship with the state that began with a single game in Launceston in 2001 and grew into what the club calls its adopted second home, playing home matches at what’s now UTAS Stadium. The commemorative “HAWKS 25 YEARS IN TASMANIA 2001–2026” crest — styled in bold yellow and brown blocking — anchors both garments, tying the apparel directly to the milestone rather than standard seasonal merchandise.

Crest on the Chest, Crest Owns the Back

On both the hoodie and the tee, the small anniversary badge sits on the left chest, sized modestly enough to read as a subtle marker rather than the main graphic. The back tells a different story: “HAWKS” runs large across the shoulders in bold brown lettering outlined in white, sitting directly above the club’s hawk-head crest, rendered in sharp brown, gold, and white detailing inside a shield shape. It’s a clean two-part layout on both pieces — small commemorative mark up front, full club identity across the back — consistent with how supporter apparel is typically built for a milestone season. A matching cap rounds out the set, carrying the same anniversary crest embroidered on the front panel and a smaller hawk mark on the side.

Two Fits for Two Ways to Wear It

The tee follows a regular, straightforward cut — crew neckline, straight short sleeves, no cropping or exaggerated shaping through the body. The hoodie sits in a classic pullover silhouette with a drawstring hood, front kangaroo pocket, and ribbed cuffs and hem, giving it a roomier, layered fit built for cooler Tasmanian match days. Both share the same relaxed, unstructured shoulder line rather than a fitted athletic cut.

Fabric Feel for Game Day and Beyond

Based on the smooth, matte surface of the tee and the visibly heavier, brushed texture of the hoodie, the tee appears to be a lightweight cotton jersey knit, while the hoodie reads as a heavier cotton-blend fleece — consistent with typical fan apparel weights, breathable for the tee and warmer for the hoodie.

Styling Notes

The tee works easily with denim shorts and white sneakers for a casual match-day look. The hoodie layers naturally over the tee itself with dark joggers, suited to the cooler stands at a winter fixture. Either piece, worn alone or together, marks a specific chapter in the club’s history rather than a generic team logo reprint.

Key Details

This 25 Years Tasmania Shirt set includes a regular-fit crew-neck tee and a matching drawstring pullover hoodie with a front kangaroo pocket and ribbed cuffs, both sharing the same commemorative left-chest crest and full back graphic. The anniversary badge and hawk-head crest appear to be screen printed in solid brown, gold, and white ink, with clean outlined edges consistent with a multi-color screen print rather than a full sublimation design. The tee reads as a lightweight cotton jersey, while the hoodie appears to use a heavier brushed cotton-blend fleece. Distinctive details include the matching embroidered cap included in the set and the consistent placement of the 2001–2026 milestone crest across all three pieces.
