LA Dodgers Baseball Christmas Advent Calendar
Twenty-Four Doors, One Franchise’s Full History
Door one holds the club’s blockletter LA logo. A few doors later there’s a scale model of Dodger Stadium, another holds a matchday ticket stub marked “Admit One,” and by door thirteen a gold trophy nods to the team’s long list of World Series titles. This Dodgers advent calendar treats the collection less like generic team merch and more like a franchise timeline broken into daily pieces.
From Brooklyn to Chavez Ravine
The Dodgers’ history runs deeper than most franchises’ — the team traces back to 1883 in Brooklyn, going through a string of earlier nicknames like the Bridegrooms and Trolley Dodgers before settling on “Dodgers” in 1932. Brooklyn fans finally got a championship in 1955, beating the crosstown Yankees after five previous World Series losses to them, and the team broke a much bigger barrier eight years earlier when Jackie Robinson debuted in 1947 as the first Black player in modern Major League Baseball. The move that shaped everything since came in 1958, when owner Walter O’Malley relocated the franchise to Los Angeles after failing to secure a new stadium site in New York — a decision that also pulled the Giants west to San Francisco and effectively opened professional baseball’s West Coast era. Dodger Stadium itself didn’t open until 1962; before that, the team played its first LA seasons at the Coliseum. The franchise has gone on to win the World Series nine times total, most recently in back-to-back years in 2024 and 2025.
A Set Built Around Stadium Details
Several pieces reference the ballpark experience specifically rather than just the team name. Alongside the stadium model and ticket stub, the set includes a vintage woody-style team car, string lights shaped like stadium floodlights, and a sunset-over-palm-trees ornament that reads as a small postcard of the LA skyline behind the outfield. A crossed-bats emblem and a leather glove round out the baseball-specific pieces, keeping the collection tied to the actual game rather than just team colors.
Displaying the Full Set
This falls under JULIEDIARY’s confirmed advent calendar spec: 24 individually sealed compartments inside a sturdy printed box lined with blue velvet, opened one per day through December. Each ornament is high-quality and finished in Dodger blue and white, with a small hanging loop so pieces can go straight onto a tree as they’re revealed, or stay arranged on the display tray for anyone building a season-long Dodgers collection.
Key Details
The calendar houses 24 individually sealed compartments, each revealing a different Dodger blue and white ornament, spanning the team logo, stadium and ballpark imagery, a World Series trophy, and matchday items like a ticket stub. It follows JULIEDIARY’s confirmed advent calendar construction, with a printed display box and high-quality ornaments built for tree or shelf display.
