Stray Kids “This That” Album 24-Day Blind Box Advent Calendar

A Coffee Cup Instead of a Christmas Tree

The box art skips the usual holiday imagery entirely, built instead around a chunky coffee cup outline and the group’s name lit up in warm orange neon. Inside, eight small figures represent the group’s members in chibi form, styled after their looks from the era, alongside a set of SKZOO mascot figures — cartoon animal versions of each member — dressed in matching formal wear. This Stray Kids advent calendar pulls its whole aesthetic from one specific album rather than a generic holiday theme.

Where “This & That” Actually Came From

THIS & THAT is Stray Kids’ tenth mini album, released August 7, 2026, and the title track’s origin is unusually literal: according to the members, the phrase came together while they were sharing snacks during a break, passing food back and forth and saying “try some of this, try some of that” until the phrase turned into the song’s chorus melody on the spot. Every track on the eight-song album is credited to 3RACHA, the in-house writing and production unit made up of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. The album leans on a full coffee-shop concept — each of the eight songs is presented as its own cup with a roast level and tasting score, down to handwritten tasting notes, with the title track’s note reading as a nudge not to overthink the choice and just pick both. That “why choose one” idea runs straight through the lyrics too, which repeatedly set up two options — a coupe or a truck, cappuccino or americano — and answer with both every time.

The Small Cast Behind the Cast

Alongside the member figures, the calendar includes SKZOO, a separate line of cartoon-animal characters the group introduced in December 2020, with one animal representing each member. What started as merchandise expanded well past plush toys — lifesize SKZOO performers have taken the stage during fanmeetings, and the characters now show up across stickers, emoticons, and pop-up store exclusives tied to the group’s various eras. Their inclusion here rounds the set out beyond just member likenesses, giving the collection two parallel casts pulled from the same fandom universe.
